Step 7: Invoicing

We know that managing and organizing invoices is a lot of work, but that's what we're here for. We'll explain the two invoicing systems that exist to make your life a little easier. The invoicing system will depend on whether you are an individual or a company (or self-employed). There are two different billing formats that vary depending on the nature of the customer and the host:

Invoicing process when the client is a private individual

When the client is a private individual, the invoice is automatically generated with the corresponding amount seconds after the payment is made via the platform:

a) Invoice from the host to the customer.
b) Invoice from Spathios to the host.

Invoicing process when the customer is a company or a self-employed person

When the client is a company or a freelancer, two invoices are generated

a) Invoice from the host to the customer.
b) Invoice from Spathios to the host.

Step 8: Spathios Conditions

Commission

The total amount that you will receive for each reservation made is composed of 85.5% sum of:

a) The established price and the number of contracted hours.
b) The extra costs (cleaning fees, extra price per person, etc).

It is important that you take into account that this price per hour is not the net amount that you will receive for each reservation, as it includes the followingSpathios commission of 14.5% + VAT.

Payment System

The payment process for each booking goes through the following stages:

a) The client requests a reservation through the platform.
b) You review and accept the request, as long as it meets your requirements.
c) The client pays the total amount of the reservation, thus, it is confirmed.
d) Payments are made through the Stripe payment gateway. This gateway allows you to automate transactions in a secure way.
e) You will receive the payment, by bank transfer, between 1 and 3 working days after the activity has taken place. In this way, both parties will have time to notify any incident that may have occurred.

If you want to check the payments, both pending and already made, you can do it from the Transaction History. Follow the steps below to review all payments registered on the platform:a:

1. Click on the top right-hand side, where your username appears, in the 'Account' section
2. Click on the 'Transaction History' section
3. You will find:
· Completed transactions Those transactions that have already been made (with the reservation number as the concept)
· Upcoming payments Bookings that have already been formalized but you have not yet been paid (you will be able to check the expected payment date).

Spathios Policy

At Spathios we want to ensure that we comply with the applicable regulations along with the terms and conditions to protect our community. Therefore, we have restricted certain actions in order to prevent any risk:

a) Exchanging the following contact details with the client, via the platform's message thread, before the reservation is formalized:
               - Adress of the venue
               - Contact information
               - Rates

b) The commercial name of the space in any format or support (images, text, logo, etc)
c) Desired additional material (dossier, photos, plans, etc). If you want to share any additional file with the client, you will have to do it through the Spathios support chat.
