FAQ
How long does it take to get listed?
Creating an account will only take 2 minutes. You will then be able to write your ad immediately; make sure you have the information about the space ready. Once you have done this, we will review and publish your space and advise you on possible improvements.
How much commission does Spathios charge hosts?
We only charge a flat fee of 14.5% when the booking is confirmed and the event is held.
There are no additional charges or mandatory listing fees.
How do Online Payments work on Spathios?
Spathios uses an online payment system, currently provided by Stripe, a global payment processing platform.
Stripe Connect manages payment fulfillment and allows money to be sent from the customer, via Spathios, to their connected Stripe account.
Stripe Connect offers the best and most secure method of payment, which can be initiated by either the customer or the venue manager via a booking request or a customized offer.
Payments will be paid into the venue's bank account we have on record via wire transfer (direct deposit) and processed within 7 days of booking completion. The commission is automatically deducted, so there is no need to go back and forth with invoices or transfers.
How do payouts work? How am I going to get paid?
The customer pays directly through the platform by credit card or bank transfer, and we take care of invoicing you directly for the full price of the reservation. In order for us to send you the transfer of your income, you must invoice Spathios in the "Invoices" section and we will release the payment up to 7 days after the client has made his reservation.
Do I have to sign a contract to partner up with Spathios?
No, there's no lock-in contract or extensive paperwork and you can delist anytime, though we're confident you'll benefit from using our marketplace. By joining Spathios, you simply accept our T&Cs and that's it!
